Returns And Refunds
All sales are final after an order has been shipped. Returns may be issued for the following reasons:
If a buyer wants to cancel an order prior to its shipment, the seller can approve this and a refund will be issued.
If the item received is ‘not as described’ in the listing details, the seller can approve a return, or the buyer can contact support@closetobsession.com.
Not What You Expected:
If a buyer receives an item that does not match the listing description or receives the wrong item by mistake, we ask that the buyer contact the seller first. If the seller does not offer an acceptable solution, the buyer can contact us for support. If no message has been sent to the seller 3 days after delivery, it is assumed that the buyer is happy with their purchase, and the seller is not obligated to offer a return.
Not As Described:
If the order is rendered “not as described”, the buyer will receive a refund. It is very important to us that our customers are satisfied. We strongly suggest that our sellers thoroughly describe any faults their items may have when listing, no matter how insignificant.
Refund Claim:
There are two ways to request a refund. You can log into your account (if you created an account when purchasing your order) and click on 'returns' on the right. Have the order details handy. The information you need is in the email you received the date of your purchase. Your Refund Claim should include your order id, order date, product name, and product code. If you have not created an account yet, you can create one here. If you are requesting a refund after reaching out to the seller, you can email us directly. You will need all the previously listed information along with a screenshot of the original listing description, photos, and details that help describe the reason for your return request. Please send your request to support@closetobsession.com. All refund claims should have a subject line that reads: REFUND CLAIM.
Return:
If the seller would like the item returned, the seller is responsible for the return shipping label cost. The buyer is expected to return the item within 3 days of receiving the return label. If this is not completed within the given time frame, the refund claim will be closed. All items that are returned to the seller must be returned in their original condition. This means do not wear the item or wash it. The buyer's funds will be returned after delivery confirmation. See below for more information.
Refund:
The refund amount as well as the cost for the return label will be taken from the seller's account balance. If the funds have not yet been released to the seller for this sale, they will be held (not released) in order to compensate the buyer for the return. If the seller has insufficient funds in their account, it will be debited from the attached PayPal account.
Item As Described:
If the item is received as described in the listing, but you are not satisfied for other reasons, we recommend contacting the seller to request a return/refund. Every seller has its own return policy for these kinds of returns. We suggest asking the seller about their return policy prior to purchasing or asking for additional details such as measurements. We strongly suggest that our sellers allow returns. Buyers are more likely to purchase from a seller who provides this option. Items sent back to the seller without a prepaid shipping label will not be refunded.
Seller Didn't Ship / Item Not Received:
A refund will be issued to the buyer if the seller has not shipped the item purchased within a reasonable amount of time. If for some reason, you do not automatically receive your refund, you can send a request to our customer support. We accept requests for this reason after 8 business days from the purchase date. This type of refund must be requested within 40 days after the purchase date or it will no longer apply. If the tracking number for an order confirms that the order was delivered to the address entered at checkout, the buyer is responsible for contacting their post office to resolve the issue.
Additional Terms:
A buyer will receive a refund for the cost of the item(s) returned after delivery confirmation or seller approval. Once delivery is confirmed via tracking number, the seller has 3 days to report any problems. After 3 days, seller approval is assumed and the return will be processed. It is the buyer's responsibility to ship the return in a timely manner. A return should be shipped within 3 days of receiving the return shipping label. Closet Obsession has the right to void a return request after 14 days if the seller has not approved the return, or the shipment has not been confirmed with the provided tracking number (on the return shipping label provided). A refund will include shipping charges if a return/cancellation is approved before the order has been shipped. After an order has been shipped, an approved refund will include the price of all items returned, excluding the original shipping charge for the order.
