Our Bright Cool Thing‘s always have a true sense of themselves, and the funny and fabulous Mariana Lee fits this description just perfectly.  She’s the Marketing and Communications Manager for NYLON Magazine and is one of the coolest people with one of the coolest jobs we know!  She grew up in Oahu, Hawaii as a self-proclaimed tomboy, but that all changed when she was 16 and her mom bought this lucky girl her first Louis Vuitton purse (GO MOM!).   Ever since then, Mariana’s been head over heels in love with fashion!

After graduating from Brown University, she lived in Los Angeles for a few years before making her way back to the East Coast to New York City.   Her love for fashion only grew and landed her a job that she had only dreamt about before!  As the head of Marketing at NYLON magazine, Mariana leads all creative services projects, works with the top fashion and beauty brands on their marketing initiatives, and plans all of NYLON’s super fun events “to bring the magazine to life with celebrities and live performances.”  And we can tell you first hand, as usual suspects on Mariana’s guest list, that she gets an A+++ for putting together the most awesome parties.  So let’s hear it for Mariana,  she’s making waves on the mainland BIG TIME!
