WHAT’S IN STORE

My day job’s had me working a lot of late nights the past couple of weeks so my hubby and I agreed that a little “WE” time was in order yesterday!  It was the best idea ever since Tuesday also happens to be ALL YOU CAN EAT mussels and fries night at this great restaurant called Essex.  It was a TOTAL NO-BRAINER to head over there.  Because, um, there’s a little something you should know about me…I CAN PUT DOWN some mussels.  Seriously.  I obviously had to choose my dinner attire wisely and threw on a giant sweater.  Haha, but not just any old oversized sweater!  It’s one that I LOVE and have been dying to wear all Summer.  Boom!  I was READY. FOR. DINNER.  After 3 full rounds of mussels and fries and spending some QT with my baby, I rolled home super full and super happy.  See ya next Tuesday Essex!

Los Angeles is finally…FINALLY…getting chilly and I couldn’t be more ecstatic!  After a super long day yesterday, my BF and I didn’t feel like doing any dishes so we went out for dinner to a yummy Italian place called Angeli’s.  I dusted off the “IS IT COLD ENOUGH YET???” section of my closet and immediately picked out a few key pieces that I haven’t seen in months.  Tights! Long sleeves! And of course, Boots! AWWW, I MISSED YOU GUYS!  It was my first time getting a chance to wear these studded booties from ASOS, and man, they are a total front runner for the title of Most Wearable Shoes this season.  They’re comfy, sturdy, and yes, GREEN!  Welcome to Fall L.A, my boots and I can’t wait to spend more time with you!

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

So Project is officially a wrap and I’m back in L.A.! The show was good, but so tiring! Nonetheless, I am even more inspired now and really eager to get back to work. I tell you, it never stops! To give you a better idea of what I’ve been working on and of course, what I showed at Project, I want to share a few of my favorite pieces from the line.

The fashion business is so intense and tough, but all of the stress goes away when you see your first samples. To me, it’s one of the best things about the process- seeing your vision, your work, come to life- nothing beats it, especially when it’s true love at first sight. Ladies (and Gentlemen) here’s a glimpse of the Brigid Catiis Spring ’10 Collection. Hope you love, or I’ll take “like a lot”, the pieces as much as I do!

Vintage Brighton Brown Leather Purse Daypack Backpack

This backpack caught our eye for a few reasons. One, the color is totally wearable with mostly everything. Two, the leather looks sturdy and durable, and three, it’s currently at under $4!  You just can’t beat that people.
